CANE CUTTERS’ HOME STAND SHORTENED DUE TO RAIN

07/18/2014 10:28 AM -

Friday’s contest between the Acadiana Cane Cutters and the East Texas Pump Jacks has been canceled due to rain.

Tickets for tonight’s game can be redeemed at any other Cane Cutters’ game throughout the season for a comparable seat depending on availability.

The Lyle Mouton bobble head doll giveaway powered by Nursing Specialties, Inc., originally scheduled for tonight, will be rescheduled for Saturday, July 26th. Tonight’s C&G Boats Post Game Fireworks Show has also been rescheduled for the 26th. Additionally, the Cajun Harley-Davidson-sponsored Bike Night will be taking place that evening. The first 400 fans in paid attendance will receive a Lyle Mouton bobble head doll, and the first 100 adults, ages 21 and older, will get a free shot glass! Gates will be opening early at 5:30 P.M., and Mouton will also be attendance for the evening’s game!

The Lafayette Little League Challenge Game is still set for July 26th as well, and is now scheduled to start at 5:45 P.M.

Despite the rain, Acadiana enjoyed a successful home stand by winning all three games. The Cane Cutters defeated the Texas Marshals on Tuesday and Wednesday, and took down the East Texas Pump Jacks in a rain-shortened game last evening.

The Cane Cutters will look to continue their hot streak when they visit the Brazos Valley Bombers on Saturday and Sunday.

Acadiana will return home on Tuesday, July 22nd, against the Victoria Generals for Ladies Night where there will be raffle prizes and a t-shirt giveaway. The two-game home series will conclude on Wednesday. You can watch the games online by going to www.Ustream.com. Call (337) 451-6582 or log on to www.canecuttersbaseball.com for ticket information.
