The Acadiana Cane Cutters fell in a close game to the East Texas Pump Jacks on the road this evening by a score of 4-3.

Hayden Guidry (University of Louisiana – Lafayette) started on the mound for the Cane Cutters and allowed four runs in seven innings pitched, picking up the loss.

Every batter in the Pump Jack order recorded a hit tonight and the team tallied 14 base knocks. The offensive attack was led by first baseman Dustin Williams who went 3 for 4 with an RBI, and Connor Huesers who went 2 for 3, scoring once and driving in two runs.

Pump Jack reliever Jordan White picked up the win in relief of starter Tanner Cable. White threw two and one third innings and did not allow a run.
