Two Sooners coming to the 2016 Cane Cutters

The Cane Cutters will be adding 2nd baseman Kyle Mendenhall and outfielder Cameron Frazier from the Oklahoma Sooners. 

 

Mendenhall, a sophomore at Oklahoma, was an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in his freshman season. During his 2015 campaign, he appeared in 44 games with 26 starts at second base, posted a .230 batting average, scored 12 runs and drove in three runs. Mendenhall was a four-year letterwinner at Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, California and was named First Team All-League and Team MVP as a senior. Mendenhall is studying human relations.

 

Frazier, a sophomore at Oklahoma, appeared in 24 games as a freshman where he scored four runs and went 2-for-4 at bat with two walks but was used primarily as a pinch-runner. Frazier played baseball for four years at Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado, and was a two-time All-Region and three-time All-Conference selection. He also played football as a wide receiver and a kick returner. Frazier is studying criminal justice.
