The Cane Cutters had a slow start in Sunday's matchup with the Brazos Valley Bombers in their 13-4 loss in Brazos Valley.

Meanwhile, the Bombers had two big innings to lead them past the Cane Cutters with five runs in the first and six runs in the fifth.

Acadiana’s four-run ninth inning wasn’t nearly enough to help them past the Bombers.

Acadiana returns to action tomorrow night to try to split the series with the Bombers with the game starting at 7 p.m.

The team will return to Fabacher Field on Tuesday to take on the Victoria Generals at 7 p.m.
