The Brazos Valley Bombers beat the Acadiana Cane Cutters by a final score of 14-0 on a toasty Monday night at Fabacher Field.

 

 

Alex Samples homered to left field in the first inning to give the Bombers an early 1-0 lead.

 

 

Brazos Valley batted around the lineup in the fourth inning scoring six times to take a 7-0 lead.

 

 

The Bombers were in control of this game from the beginning.

 

 

Acadiana just couldn't get their bats going and will have to look to bounce back tomorrow night with Wilmer Nunez from Ranger College who will get the start for them.

 

 

The Cane Cutters and Bombers will conclude their two-game set tomorrow night at Fabacher Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm.
