Acadiana beat the Victoria Generals by a score of 4-3 in ten innings during a one-game playoff for a spot in the TCL championship series.

The Cutters struck first, taking a 3-0 lead in the top of the fourth on a three-run triple by Gabe Montenegro (Southern Miss) that scored Trey Morgan (Southern Louisiana), Jonathan Artigues (Tulane) and Cane Castille (McNeese). Starter Max Page (UT Tyler) would go six-plus innings, and allow one run on nine hits. The one run charged to Page was followed by two more, all coming in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at three. The contest would head to extra innings before a sacrifice fly by Morgan scored Turner Francis (ULM) to give the Cutters a 4-3 lead in the top of the tenth. Justin Damary (Minot St) earned the win with two scoreless innings to shut the door after just one bonus frame. Montenegro would finish with Player of the Game honors and a stat line of 1-for-4 with a triple, 3 runs batted in and a walk.
