 Youngsville, LA (February 23, 2018) The Cane Cutters are excited to announce Kody Gautreaux as the 2018 assistant coach. Kody played high school ball with the Acadiana Wrecking Rams before moving on to LSU-A where he played baseball for four seasons while earning his bachelor’s degree in general studies with a concentration in kinesiology along with minors in communication and psychology.

Kody is currently is in his second season as a UT Tyler assistant coach. Aside from coaching, he is also pursuing his master’s degree of science in health and human performance with a concentration in health promotion.

Gautreaux will be alongside 2017 pitching coach/2018 head coach Joey Satriano. The Cane Cutters Front Office is excited with how the 2018 coaching staff and roster is shaping up.
