Youngsville, LA (April 20, 2018) Acadiana returns Nathan Gabryszwski for his second season with the team. Rhett McCall, Cole Secrest, and Marcus Olivarez are set to join the Cane Cutters as well. 

The Cane Cutters are excited to have Gabryszwski back in the lineup for the 2018 campaign. Despite battling injury during the 2017 season, Nate was able to appear in 27 games for the Cutters and posted a .272 batting average. He was also perfect in the field in over 99 innings played. 

C, McCall - Freshman out of Mont Belvieu, Texas was a first-team all-district catcher and district defensive MVP in High School. In 2018, Rhett has appeared in 18 games for the Cardinals with a fielding % of .946.

OF, Secrest - Freshman out of The Woodlands, Texas has played in all 37 games for the Cardinals this year. He's currently second on the team with 36 hits and is also tied for the most HR on the team with 3. 

RHP, Olivarez - Freshman out of Columbus, Texas has appeared on the mound in 16 games for the Cardinals this season. In those appearances, Marcus is averaging just under a strikeout per inning.
