The Acadiana Cane Cutters defeated the Woodland Strykers 10-2 in the Woodlands on Tuesday.

Matthew White, of Lamar University, allowed just one run in five innings pitched and was awarded the win for the Cane Cutters.

Acadiana will go for the sweep tomorrow night when they take on the Stykers in game two of the two-game series.

The Cane Cutters return home on Thursday to take on the Brazos Valley Bombers at 7 p.m. Thursday is Thirsty Thursday at Fabacher Field, where a 10 oz. beer is $1 all night.
