Canes Lose to Marshals 5-6

CANES LOSE TO MCKINNEY MARSHALS AFTER WINNING LAST NIGHT ON THE ROAD
The Cane Cutters lost the second game 6-5 in a two game stand in McKinney, TX tonight, after winning Saturday night. Kelby Langston pitched the first sixinnings, giving up 4 runs on 5 hits with 4 strikeouts. Kelby Langston got the loss, giving up 2 runs on s hits.
The Marshals scored first after Plumlee singled and Bolcerek hit a single to score him. The Cane Cutters got a walk for Woods, and he scored when Marse hit one and got put out. In the top of the 5th, Mike Barba of Nicholls State hit a homerun. Then the Marshals broke it open, with Talamantes advancing to first on an error, Plumlee singled, Dixon walked, and Bolcerkec hit a triple with the bases loaded, scoring 3 runs for the inning. 
In the top of the 6th, the Cane Cutters tried to get things back on track, and Roussel got on when he was hit by a pitch, and Barba walked. Vandervere singled, and Rodriguez walked, scoring Roussel. With the score still tied, both teams scored a run in the 8th, led off by Marse's double. But the Cane Cutters couldn't score in the 9th, and the Marshals scored one.
Monday night is the rescheduled Military Appreciation Night, with admission for all military personnel, past and present, for $2 for themselves, their spouse, and their children. Fireworks will be on hand for the celebration, sponsored by C&G Boats.   Come out to help us honor our military heroes.
 The Cane Cutters have games all week, including Tuesday, and Wednesday, and Friday night will be Warren Morris night, with $1 off for all fans wearing purple and gold to the game. Friday will be Fiery Friday again, courtesy of C&G Boats.
