Cane Cutters Bounce Back with a Win

 Lafayette, La. – The Acadiana Cane Cutters win at home against the Brazos Valley Bombers with a score of 10-5. The game had to go to extra innings to be decided but the Cane Cutters pulled through in the end.

Cane Cutters’ batters were able to bounce back after last night’s game with a total of 10 runs on 8 hits on the night. Patrick Lee, (William Carey University) came up big for the Cutters, as he led the team on the night with 4 hits while also driving in a 1 run as well. Kade Dupont, (ULM) also contributed on the night with 1 hit and was able to drive in a team leading 4 runs for the Cutters.

The Cane Cutters had a pretty good night on the mound, as they allowed 9 hits with just 6 runs allowed. Case Roark, (BRCC) came into the game in the 5th inning, as he struck out a total of 4 batters while giving up just 3 hits in 2 innings pitched.  Will Tynes (Southern Mississippi) started the game for the Cutters and tied Roark with the team high 4 strikeouts on the night.  

The Cane Cutters will face off against the Baton Rouge Rougarou on July 10th!  First pitch is set for 7pm at Fabacher Field in Youngsville, Louisiana.
